Build the next Big Ed-Tech solution and win a chance to be a part of funded acceleration program supported by USAID & READ Alliance.
In a country where the education ecosystem faces multiple challenges in quality and delivery of education, technology offers the potential for solutions that can bridge this learning divide. In fact, many in the field of education are beginning to shift away from debates over whether technology is appropriate to use at all to a more nuanced discussion about how it should be used and with which audiences. With newer possibilities of design, crowdsourcing, mobile-tech,iterative hacking, rapid prototyping, and impact investment ecosystems, we can provide solutions to the early grade reading problem in India by developing radical solutions using technology!
Through multiple conversations with key players in the sector and our experience of working on the field, we have come up with themes that would guide the creation of these tech-enabled solutions. Our themes focuses around:
- enhancing teacher effectiveness by fostering best practices, peer to peer learning and continuous teacher training
- increasing availability of reading material by developing material in local languages &
- building tech-based solution to enable assessment, data collection, analysis and personalized remediation.
